Kids at Weddings

Many of my couples are divided on whether they should allow children at their wedding. Some think that kids add to the atmosphere of tradition and bring light relief & spontaneity to a day filled with ceremony; others imagine screaming, sweaty, bare-chested, chocolate-mouthed, shouting-out-in-the-middle-of-the-service little blighters and can’t think of anything worse on what they consider to be a beautiful day for adults only. It’s a personal decision and I understand the reasons for and against, but when children are allowed I can’t resist capturing a photograph like this.

One thing’s for sure, whether the adults are for or against children at weddings, the little people don’t care; they’re too busy having fun.
