London Banqueting House Wedding : Bonita & Eren
This was no ordinary London Banqueting House Wedding.
Ayn Rand said “If it’s worth doing, it’s worth overdoing”. Bonita & Eren must have taken those words to heart, because they didn’t have have just one Wedding, oh no. They had TWO. After their wonderful Indian Garden Wedding held at Bonita’s family home (click here to see part one of this amazing wedding) , B&E invited guests to step out of their kurtas & sarees into tuxedos & evening gowns for more celebration the following weekend in London.
This glamorous wedding day saw Bonita wearing Claire Pettibone & Manolo Blahnik, and Eren sporting Dior & Louboutin. Elegant pairings for an elegant pair! Guests followed suit and made the backdrop of Whitehall’s Banqueting House look like an Enchanting Wedding by way of a Hollywood Premiere.
This time I decided to spend the morning with Eren & his best men (I like to think of them more as his entourage) getting ready. This is how the day unfolded…
Eren wore a killer pair of Louboutin’s, proving they’re not just for girls. I’m still coveting his shoes…and his suit for that matter. A slim fitting navy three-piece by Dior.
Those soles will never be the same again.

Eren’s brother helped with the finishing touches.
Sharpness & Debonaire ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED.
Eren moved dangerously close to James Bond parody when he took his Martini into the street, but I think he pulls it off, don’t you?
I think you see what I mean about an entourage. Cheers!
Even innocent bystanders were asked to get involved in the group photo.
A wedding day is too short not to have another glass of champagne.
The bridal party arrived to a busy Saturday afternoon in Whitehall, filled with tourists & traffic.
Pensive and in the car, Bonita still looked gorgeous. I love that she chose to wear her hair down, styled beautifully by Scott from Taylor Taylor London.

Guests gathered and chatted in the huge ceremony room upstairs.
The bridesmaids were full of smiles, wearing exquisite peach dresses from ASOS. White bouquets by Mary Jane Vaughn.
Bonita looked radiant in that Claire Pettibone dress. That bouquet!
And that veil…
Bonita, about to make the walk down the aisle.
I always seem to capture grooms at their most solemn, with the best man revelling in the groom’s discomfort.

Bonita’s Father walked her down the aisle in the grand hall.
This time, there were tears amidst the smiles.
The Banqueting House truly is awe-inspiring.
How beautiful do these two look?
Eren beamed and gave a huge sigh of relief as he slipped the ring on Bonita’s finger.
Banqueting House is known for it’s ornate interiors, but the ceiling in the main room takes the venue to another level.
These two never stop laughing…
…or clowning around. Even in their best wedding attire, they can throw up some gang & somehow make it work.
I loved this moment. Even from behind their headscarves, I could see these guests craning to get a view of the action up front.
WE DID IT!
A quick walk through London to capture some family portraits.
Here come the girls…
…and Eren.
Did I mention that veil? That dress? Just gorgeous.
OWNING IT.

Champagne was flowing and the guests were having a ball.
This photo is all about B&E’s eyes. And that lovely evening window light.
To the dancefloor we go.
We went up some back stairs and into the restricted area (shhh!) to capture this shot. That ceiling…
…and this was the view from above.

A grand five-tiered cake from the amazing Karisha at Creme De La Cakes.
There was something rhythmic watching the wait staff trot up & down the stairs.

Selfie sticks on every table! Guests loved snapping photos of themselves. I never tire of watching them.
Eren was quite comfortable at giving speeches by this stage.
Eren’s brother found even more embarrassing moments from Eren’s childhood. The guests ate it up.
“Take me away. NOW.”
One of my favourite moments of a guest during the speeches. I loved how she had lost interest in all the talking and looked the other way.
Not even 20 seconds into the first dance and Eren’s family descended to stuff white envelopes in his pockets.
