Sophie & Paul are an understated couple and wanted their wedding day to reflect this. No big dress, no big reception and definitely no big fuss. Staying true to themselves, a love of nature and all things outdoors guided them to opt for a Civil Ceremony and a small celebration with close family and friends in their favourite part of the World – Derbyshire’s Peak District.

We started the day with a few informal portraits at their farmhouse, and then I documented their morning whilst they got ready and made their way to Bakewell for the ceremony. Here are some of my favourite images from the story of their day.
